Here in UK, USA and Europe where I have seen with my own eyes, you cant use your mobile at the fuel station because it will ignite fire and cause massive damage to life and property. We African s are so stupid to the extent that we even use mobile phones to make calls inside the plane when we have been clearly instructed not to and the we start shouting JESUS when something happens; so silly. No wonder people die by burning in Africa because they think its AI when a fuel tanker spills fuel on a hot tarmac. Common sense should tell us that it will ignite. When the driver of a tanker at Bogoso Apiatse was running away from his truck fearing explosion, the villages were running to it because of pure greed to collect booty and we all know what happened. Hopefully we enlighten ourselves and stop labelling fact as AI to save future lives of illiterates.

Though the driver was the person using the phone. The attendant fauled in his duty of health and safety rules and care. In my opinion the attendant failed . He should be sacked, he was lucky it was a mild fire incident. This could have caused a major fire outbreak with massive damage to the station premises. Why did he run. I hope to go and get the fire extinguisher.
