Kwesi Appiah was a local coach. Remember Brazil 2014? CK Aunnor was local coach. Hughton, diaspora coach. Otto was local/diaspora due to being a BS player. We tried local, time for something different.

I want Ghanaians to take notice of something here, the next Black Stars call will consist of local players, under 20 and under 23 players as well as a few professional players abroad. Now my question is since the coach is a new coach, has never been to Ghana before, has never seen Ghana under 23 players play before, how is he going to make those selections? How did he know those players? And do we even have enough time for that? Per my information, it is Desmond Offei who is going to make those selections and it is business as usual, they are going to advertise their products. Majority of the European leagues will break on the 22nd and Ghana's next match is on the 27th and the coach is new so why do we call players who will not be selected for the world? As far as I know the German bundersliga, the France Ligue 1, English championship, Germany bundersliga 2, danish league and the leagues that majority of our players play in will be on break on the 22nd so why can't they invite those players since time is not on the coach's side? I will advise the ministry to interfere, sit the coach down and talk to him about these internal interference that goes on in our national team before he fails.

I remember Coach Konadu had to clean up after the white coaches as interim amd when things change the go back to Chech or Serbia for a coach. Coaches do not play on the field but we always forget the players and the conditions to make them better. In 2014 the masses said, Let us go for Avram Grant and he will get us the cup. But our boys played the penalties and lost not Avram Grant.
