Tsatsu rejected the pardon, but instead of staying in prison to fight his case he came out the Korle Bu Cardio Centre where he was already enjoying his prison term to his house. He Tsatsu didn't stay in Nsawam prison because e claimed he had a heart and asthma condition. The law of "Willfully causing financial loss to the state" was enacted by Jerry Rawlings in 1993 with the help of Tsatsu and Kwamina Ahwoi and their brothers, not knowing it would catch Tsatsu, Victor Selormey, Sipa Yankey, Kwame Pepra, Dan Agbodakpi, Ibrahim Adam, and the rest. It is not true that the law was passed retroactively. Go and learn your history. Probably you're just throwing dust into our eyes like NDC always does. The law on willfully causing financial loss to the state was passed in 1993 as an amendment to the Criminal Code of Ghana. It was introduced as section 179A(3) of the Criminal Code, 1960 (Act 29).
