Watch as John Dumelo supports students in his constituency with free shoes

Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West, John Dumelo, has donated shoes to students in parts of his constituency as part of efforts to support their education and general welfare.

The initiative, which benefited basic and junior high school pupils in the Airport Residential Area and Okponglo, forms part of the MP’s broader commitment to improving the well-being of young people and easing challenges that affect their schooling.

John Dumelo loses father days before swearing-in ceremony

In a video shared on X by SIKAOFFICIAL on April 22, 2026, Dumelo is seen engaging with the students and personally helping some of them wear their new shoes.

The gesture, carried out by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture, brought excitement among the pupils and relief to their families.

The donation is part of ongoing community-focused interventions by the lawmaker aimed at promoting access to education and strengthening social support systems within the constituency.
