Sub Saharan Africans must fix their countries and stop migrating for economic reasons and we'll see who'll suffer. Anytime a people are faced with economic hardship, their first excuse and target are foreigners. But as soon as the foreigners leave their economies begin to tank. Ghana did it to Nigeria in 1970, Nigeria retaliated in 1983 and both suffered economic consequences afterwards. Same has applied throughout history. No country develops without significant contributions by foreigners. You think wealthier nations like Australia, United Kingdom, United States and recently island nations like St. Kitts and Nevis, Barbados, etc don't know the benefits of migration to be opening their doors to migrants? Let's fix our countries and quit travelling to hustle and they'll come begging us with juicy migrant schemes.

The reality and the conveniently dismissed elephant in the room is that, the Apartheid regime of white supremacists only gave way to a convenient arrangement to usher in another group of exploitative pirates; the so-called freedom-fighters (including every president of SA since independence) who have only worsened the state of the native south African physically, psychologically, and financially.

This is the new group of home-grown local Apartheid apologists and surrogates who are only perpetuating the evils of the colonists on their own people.

They have compounded the Apartheid PTSD state of mind of their people by adding on a homegrown, black-forged layer of their own and destroyed even what was built by Apartheid through the sweat of the poor black south African.

Nor has the "comrade-led" government since independence committed itself fully to totally reverse the iniquities of Apartheid across board by resetting the lives of its people through intentional political and social policy engagement. So the people of SA are still essentially nothing but Apartheid Cannon fodder.

The ordinary South African has NOT healed from the effects of Apartheid 1 and Apartheid 2 will keep it so for decades to come.

The least we can do is leave them alone to navigate their own conundrum and find lasting solutions to their crises.

To flock there as entitled booty for helping them gain independence is complete hogwash. We're only adding another layer of social turbulence to their already complex distorted state of reality which can only lead to an inevitable implosion.

Leave them be! Let them rediscover themselves and find their true identities. If and when they need help or require intervention from the outside, they will make the request.

It's a horribly painful irony but we have to put things in perspective and LEAVE THESE PEOPLE ALONE TO SORT THEMSELVES OUT.

It is to be expected. That is why we AFRICANS must not treat south Africa like a trophy or a prize to be claimed be side we helped bring them freedom from apartheid.

Best we can do is leave them alone to sort out their PTSD. WHEN THEY HAVE REDISCOVERED THEMSELVES AND HEALED FROM THE SAVAGERY OF THE PAST, THEY WILL REACH OUT TO THE WORLD LIKE NORMAL HUMANS DO.

If the whole continent stood by South Africa during apartheid regime, must South Africans not live in peace devoid of nefarious activities after being freed from oppression?

President Mahama, come again, leave that family lineage excuses we've been hearing from you and tell the Nigerian government to call its people to order or say it directly to those Nigerians who are living in Ghana and other countries to put a stop to their inhumane activities anywhere they find themselves on this part of the world.

Very soon, it'll be the turn of Ghanaians to rise against Nigerians and tell them enough is enough, they should go, failure of which will lead to chasing them out of Ghana without any government intervention because the politician, rich powerful people have sat down unconcerned to watch Nigerians invade Ghana with their acts of scam, kidnapping and ritual murder for far too long.

Until South Africa fixes its economy and provides jobs and facilities for its many unemployed and struggling citizens, xenophobia won't die down there, no matter how much we scream and shout and play back their history for them. All they see now is foreigners taking their jobs and limited government medical facilities available for them.
