There are thousands and thousands or graduates who haven't had a job for more than 10 years. There are the aged farmers who cannot work and have no pension unlike those in Western countries. Hospitals cannot cope with the number of patients seeking medical care everyday due to lack of beds or doctors. (The ratio of doctor to patient in Ghana is 1:6,000). Housing is a problem in Ghana. It is due to some of the above economic problems that force some Ghanaians to travel abroad to look for green pastures.
