  No. Let the Government send them to Western Countries for Special Medical Treatment for the cause of that. Ghana should not be a country that people should suffer from Food Shortages and malnutrition. I remember the time of Kutu Acheampong when the Operation Feed Yourself was so successful that Ghana for the first time exported food to other African countries. Families had Fish Farms and Fish was in abundance. Kutu had been retired from the Army and he was resting in his hometown at Tuobodom when he was arrested, put to trial under Efo Julor John Rawlings’s Public Tribunal, found guilty and Sentenced to death. He was shot to death at the Teshie Military Firing Range. What were his criminal charges. The Rumor Mill had among them that he loved women. Is this not silly? And I think Boakye Djan and Rawlings never liked any other women besides their wives. I always pray that such stupid Military Experimentation should never happen again in Ghana. It was good that Efo Julor John Rawlings and Boakye Djan also had abandoned and lonely deaths

  God gave us hands and feet for mobility and therefore begin to move .
  The youth who are unemployed involve them .
  This would eventually stop them from drug abuse and robberies.There are young women who are selling their bodies for money because they want to feed their families.
  I have lived in europe for almost 20years and have never heard of shortage of tomatoes.
  After all these meetings and engagements ,let us all wake up and start moving.shalom

  These reports dont tell the actual story and the GSS have to change thier method of measurement or assessment. If you go the rural areas and ask people whether they have enough to eat for the 1 month, they will tell you no if even they have. They think that when they say no or underestimate their food stock you are going to give them money or food. the best approach is find how many bags of rice, maize etc did they get in the last farming season, how much has been used for festivals, funeral etc and how much is left for eating. You can even ask politely if they can show you where the offdstufs are and see it. You also ask for the family size ( wife, children and other family relatives etc). You then use that information and compute the food security index for yourself. I was part of a team that collected data for an American NGO in Ghana and I know what im saying.
