Government should find them thru the banks where the money was received. Made them pay for it and jail them.

Every year we hear about ghost names on the state payroll system, with billions of Cedis paid to people with no work done, why? Simple, we have a corrupt and criminal leaders across the country causing havoc to the life of the citizens, destroying the economy. It looks like our government does not know how many people are in active employment, and how much money should be paid out every month, crazy country, how can this be a reality today, in 2026 with all the techinology around. We are simply not serious as a country, even the state should not pay over a pesewa on the payroll system to active employees and pensioners, snd all active state employees should be accounted for every month, this is not hard, kid stuff, here we are talking about 67,000 names over, crazy, lazy and corrupt leaders all over the country, useless state auditors.

Hold those in charge for verification responsible, and then put a system in place to prevent recurrence. Nobody is enthused by you removing ghost names. Those ghosts are not supposed to be on the payroll, and anyone who helps ...

These leaders must stop this scamming and bring real development and transformation to our country.

Are the names added again when JDM took the steering wheel? Ghana, which should we now believe. Cos we were made to understand that no one can be paid without the ghanacard and a bank account linked to it. Were the names added on last day of nana addo leaving or added during recent dumsor. Wonders shall never end. Ghana has a long journey to go.

Ghana is a joke country. Ministers received double pay and none was punished. Citizens receive unauthorised pay and its called ghost names. Yet no one get punished. Thievery from to bottom. Very sad.
