If the nation listens to some of these lawyers nothing will change in Ghana. Everything is human right to them. The essence of law is not primarily to punish people but to reform the way they behave. When people are aware of laws they generally stop doing the wrong things, with few headstrong persons still disobeying. The law only deals with those who act with impunity. There is a reason why judges most often spare first time offenders, especially because of their probable ignorance of the law. Let's allow some of these legislations to hold people accountable abuse of freedom of speech.

I thing you should listen to what Samson is saying once more to understand where he's coming. Members if the current government are using the police in CIVIL cases instead of the affected members going to court on their own to seek justice. This is one of the points Samson is making.
