Some captured Africans were also marched northwards for sale to Arab slave merchants. And here we are, having the audacity to demand reparations.

  Stop the UNESCO nonsense that seeks to make Africans culpable for the Atlantic slave trade. There was nothing like a slave route. There were trade routes along which slaves and other goods, both local and foreign, were ferried. To say slave route implies that Africans constructed special routes for slaves. Such epistemology deepens Africans' role in the slave trade, while lessening Europeans.
