Can this Calistus Mahama shut up! When only you and Joyce Bawah hijacked everything at the Jubillee House and dishing out all the appointees to your crannies, family members and your people, did you know that there is a vehicle called NDC with members upon which John Mahama rode?

Some of us, we are even praying that, Mahama's four years come to an end quickly so a new flagbearer could succeed him for 2028 election so we the members of NDC could also be recognised.

As it stands now, it is you Calistus and Joyce Bawa who hijacked everything at the Jubillee House.

Politics, like football, produces the best results when the whole team is run as a team. However, when you have for instance a national football team in which individual players interests are divided against each other, the team will certainly not yield good results. That is the toxic substance that is beginning to creep into the body fabric of the NDC Party.

This succession nonsense gained mileage with that Dankwa pollster who clearly, has been influenced to promote the unqualified presidential ambitions of the most unlikely characters in the NDC for the 2028 elections. If he and his likes are not stopped from proceeding along that path, not only will the NDC govt ultimately implode before the 2028 elections but the NDC Party may,against all expectations, also likewise lose or perform miserably.

Not only will this erode the many fantastic achievements of the Mahama led govt but, it will send the political and economic conditions of this country, back down into the doldrums such as what we experienced during the terrible 8-year period of the NPP govt.

As a remote observer of the political climate, I had actually begun to lose hope that it seemed there were very few responsible and sensible political functionaries in the immediate environs of the hard-working development-oriented current President who has, as a result, gained international recognition and popularity for his outstanding accomplishments. However, it appears that I was badly mistaken. This single publication by Callistus Mahama has revealed and reignited some hope in the affairs of the govt and I hope he has administrative muscle as well as sufficient political posture to impress the necessary positive influences that will steer the NDC govt as well as the Party and most importantly the nation, away from the looming storm.
