Why subject kids as young as 12 to external exams? It's completely nonsensical for policy makers to take such a decision. After O & A Levels, I was expecting PNDC to merge Primary, JHS & SHS into one system as done elsewhere

Meaning NDC is happy when more kids in Ashanti region fail BECE. I don't support cheating in Exams, it's not helpful but I can say wicked PNDC which NDC came from brought this Stupid Exams.Many kids and parents feel there is no future for them if they fail BECE. Gone were the days even if you fail your Common Entrance Exams, you can rewrite the following year. Some Secondary schools even organise Late Entrance Exams where they feel their admissions have fall short. NDC after creating the mess is pretending to be innocent.

Integrity is gone in WAEC exams, it seems. If you insist, your child may not be able to compete with the answers from teachers and invigilators. Therefore, you have to cough up the money for good private SHSs and continue to Academic city or Ashesi or fee-paying Ghanaian. Better still, replace jss and shs with Cambridge/IB. We use corruption as a solution and fail to see the mess. WASSCE Certificate continues to lose credibility around the world. Sad

It is abput time we realize our style of education and style of exams are pretty outdated. It is not only about how fast and how good these lads are on paper. We have not made any effort in skilling them and preparing them for the real world. Even in the west things have evolved. You can measure only intelligence this way. Tell me how far has this education and examination system brought us. Students graduate and have zero sense of creativity/innovation and all they want is some big company to employ them to sit in the office or being employed by the government which is quite limited
