The FA have told the coach to give slot to four locally based players, it is agreed that Asare will be the first choice goalkeeper and Agbeshi be prepared for the future, with those 2 goalkeepers I can confidently tell you that they will be at the world cup unless something happens. The problem is, time is not on Queiroz side to monitor and know all the players so Desmond is in charge of everything and he is the showing and convincing the coach about the players

That’s a very sensible approach to a new project. If it will continue like this, then a blend of the good new ones and the old players who have justified their inclusion already will surely help us.

I had wanted the coach to scout for new talents to buttress the Black Stars. But I was not expecting such an overhaul. Hope it is not a step too far. I believe apart from unearthing new talents, the coach was also mindful our group opponents, especially Panama and England would be spying on the team during the 2 friendlies. My only hope is that proper scouting was done before the invitations took place. Nevertheless, I wish the coach and the team all the best to cope with the massive challenge ahead.

This is a sad turn for ghana football. this close to the world cup when most teams have already picked their final squal, we are rather busy selecting amateurs for major trial matches to boost the personal profits of GFA members.
