My observation is they have poor temperament which psychologically affect their memory when speaking in public. This etiquette are taught when we are young and in school, it's however not too late for them.

I personally think it would have nice if welcome is written in several languages/ dialects at airport.
Ewe for instance is spoken by Nigeria, Benin, Togo and Ghana. Likewise Ga is spoken by the anehos in Togo and Accra. The word Ayigbe came as a result of a misunderstanding between the Ga people and their Aneho kinsmen. Apart Gas and Anehos no Ewe uses or bears the name AYI.

Can someone with wisdom within the opposition community and critics of minister Linda Ocloo's statement explain what was wrong with the statement?

Did she say anything negative or derogatory about the people in the north? Did she say anything negative about life in the north? Did she refer to the north as comparable to prison or say bad things about living conditions in the north?

Here are facts that all you nincompoops are dancing around but afraid to admit as facts. The absolute majority of all Ghanaians who hail from the collective northern region who now work in Ghana's south know the truth. Have all those folks from the "north" who now work and live in southern Ghana regions moved their respective families to the south?

Are a majority of northerners who work in Greater Accra and other southern regions satisfied with their travel arrangements back and forth to visit and be with families? Even those who can financially afford the expense cannot overcome the maintenance and the wear and tear on their personal vehicles neither are they satisfied with the travel time and the lack of effective and efficient transportation alternatives.

It is in light of those facts that people living and working in Ghana's south know their daily routines are a luxury relative to what migrants from the north face year in and year out. Anyone who doubt those facts must volunteer to take up same employment position they occupy in the north if available.

Enough of the NPP normalization of ignorance and unprincipled cultural practices.

In other airports in other parts of the world, the 'WELCOME' signage is in as many of the global languages as possible to make travelers feel welcomed in their own language. Nothing stops Ghana from adding even the international languages, to all its own languages, to welcome citizens and foreigners to our country. Ghana is not only Akan-speaking or Ewe-speaking.

This Lady, l am sorry to remark is not Ministerial material. In any case does the appointing authority organise orientation for Ministers, Deputy Ministers, Ambassadors and CEOs before they assume duty.

Truth be told some of our Ministers and other appointees don’t know how to talk to the public. Some of our female appointees dressing is terrible and not civil. Some dress as if they are attending a fashion parade and others dress sexy to attract people. When you occupy public office your dressing and language should be civil. You should never make statements that would create division in the country. E.g you are a Ga or Southerners or Northerner or Ewe and so on, these statements if not managed well can spark Civil Wars.

We are all Ghanaians wherever we come from and all places in Ghana is good. Transfer to wherever in Ghana should never be a punishment to anybody. No public officer if properly oriented should ever make such a statements.

It is about time JM should conduct a cabinet reshuffle and drop some of these appointees who lack civility in public affairs. A word to the wise…
