Some positions cannot be properly performed using only our local languages and this is one of them. She represents the President and government in a very important region. She will necessarily interface with top officials and other foreign leaders coming into Ghana. The safest thing to do is to reshuffle her IMMEDIATELY. She’s made enough gaffes and said so many silly things. Her brain is very weak, fragile and she’s a paperweight. She does not qualify in the least to occupy such a position. What’s all this? Too many people in Ghana believe that they can do whatever they want because they know a “big” man or woman. About 3 years ago, someone foolishly tried to build in Department of Parks and Gardens land in Cantonments. He claimed to have bought some of the land - how did this happen ??? Someone also built a petrol station on Parks and Gardens land in Wa.

Who are the officials or politicians who allow such foolish behaviour to happen ?? So many Ghanaians have problems following rules and enforcement. This negatively affects everyone else - just look at the terrible flooding that we have seen in Accra over the last few years because of buildings and walls in water courses. Some people behave in a brainless way, with no respect for the nation’s environment.

Look at their faces and critically analyse every word that comes out of their mouths. The president himself can openly insult Ashantis, Bawumia and others without shame. Why did Papa Jay describe the current NDC leaders as babies with sharp teeth? Look at Sam George, Okujato Ablakwa, Ofosu Kwakye, Hanna Bissiw, Asiedu Nketia, this Ashanti regional minister who call himself Amoakohene, and many of their useless talkertives on radio and TV including Kwabena Bobie Ansah and Agya Kwabena have all realised that insulting their political opponents, fabricating stories to distract attention from real issues of concern and lying to the general public even if caught red handed will earn them a governmental appointment or at least 4X4 vehicle. Just leave this Ocloo lady alone. A few days earlier another one of them has also insulted the leader of the Pentecostal Church. They've been trained to do exactly what they are doing. If elections were held in the North today they will all vote for NDC. Do they care about their plight?

Northern part of Ghana is also a beautiful place to be the only problem is this same heads of various departments and agencies deny resources been sent to develop the northern part of our country.
How on earth can we have such backward mentality.
That mindset needs to be changed elsewhere our beloved country will never develop. We need to send resources to every region. Dce realisation and stop developing Accra and. Thinking Ghana is Developing.
If we Do that the youth migrating from various regions to Accra will reduce and the over crowding in Accra will ease. Let's send more resources to the other regions and Decentralised that's the only way we can develop

In some countries, government and institutions regard posting to some areas, especially isolated areas with fewer amenities than average as 'hardship' posting. Some special inducements are therefore put in place to attract employees to go to such areas voluntarily, or to 'compensate' them for the hardship. We should acknowledge that the northern part of Ghana has fewer amenities than the southern part. What is needed in this discourse is the acceptance of the disparity of amenities and the implementation of appropriate measures to reduce the perceived disparities. Let's stop pretending.

Who knows, maybe the minister or known persons to her have been multreated in that manner. The current generation are not aware of this old strategy though. The issue of the north is the elephant in the room none of you dimwitted media folks and wannabe politicians want to talk about. Has anyone asked about the number of people working as civil or public servants in northern Ghana who hail from southern Ghana regions? Do we know how many of them have purchased homes in northern Ghana where they work and how many of them have moved their immediate families to the north?

Do we know the number of people who hail from northern Ghana who work in southern Ghana regions? How many of them have purchased and made their home away from home in southern Ghana regions? Because of all majority government jobs being in southern Ghana people are obligated to migrate to southern Ghana regions. Paychecks do not include compensation for travel to and back from visiting families in the north. Even those with money find it expensive to travel twice a month back to the north.

It is within those realities of extra expense, impeded travel time and loneliness, Serwaa Amahere, that Ms Linda Ocloo, used as potential punishment for non performing workers and nothing negative about people from the north; it's certainly not because of the political silliness that has engulfed many of you nonthinking keyboard warriors and "monday morning" analysts.

I am not against transfers in principle, but they can and should be implemented more transparently and humanely because the sudden uprooting of entire families can impose significant psychological, social, and financial strain.
I recall also a judge who suggested that we were not equal before the law. Instead of appreciating the candour of that observation and addressing the underlying concerns, we reacted defensively without achieving meaningful systemic improvement.
Once again, we appear more focused on reacting to uncomfortable truths than on resolving the institutional deficiencies that allow such concerns to arise in the first place. That is one reason many of our problems persist.
