  The streets of Accra are dark at night. There are no street lights, no reflectors on curbs, no street lane and crosswalk markings. Traffic lights are not working. Aboboyaas and taxi tricycles (Mahama can do) have annoyingly inundated the city. Okada riders have pitched camp irritatingly at every junction causing nuisance in neighborhoods. The zongos are sprawling and spanning and spawning. Container kiosks are springing up everywhere. Coupled with that Moslem muezzins irritatingly disturb our sleep at dawn with their call to prayers. Christians neither give us peace with their all night prayer sessions and noisy services. Not excluding the pubs. These should be fixed to avoid disasters. Driving now in Accra at night is always a brush with death. The relevant ministries must be up and doing. The municipal assemblies are useless; supervising all this chaos and confusion and crisis. Traders have taken over pedestrian crosswalks. Squatters have taken over every conceivable space.

  When did it become government land? And the Gá-Adangbe chiefs and politicians have been dragged there to endorse the thieving of their inheritance, the inheritance their people and of generations to come, by a Gonja gang, through politics, which has never had any regards for the indigenes. They, those Gá-Adangbe leaders only look on sheepishly, instead of presenting a united opposition, even if will lose their nokofioo! Sad indeed!
