Why au running oppong nkrumah...defend ur assertion in public space through a debate. Some of us have access to the report and it is clear KPMG did a great job on the audit. Now are the losses acceptable...no because it could be mitigate through well defined policy. Now BOG is not a profit making bank its core mandate is price stability, reduction in inflation and maintaining the stability of the financial system among others and that is exactly what they've done in bring inflation down to almost 3%, stabilizing the cedi and bringing cost of doing business down.
I know we all learn about opportunity cost in secondary schools.....so in short ur cost in enjoying all the above and gold purchases is the loss incurred on thei balance sheet. But we cannot technically consider it a loss because BOG is not a profit making bank. This would have been different if its a private bank accountable to share holders. That is why u seldom hear any Central Bank crying about losses.
