  Let any Police Officer come forward and try to with any such sources of leakages and that Officer will come to understand victimization. Such leakages are not recent phenomena. There is also favoritism and tribalism.

  I remember when I wanted to join the Police during an interview at the Police Academy in 1983, Efo Rawlings despatced a number of BNI officers and some Secret Service Officers who came as candidates for the interview. Thirty minutes before the interview was finished, Rawlings himself arrived and took a copy of the results of the interview away. Yes, I remember Commissioner of Police Yaw Boakye attended that interview as a candidate. There is corruption and favoritism everywhere.
  The Military is known and supposed to be disciplined but even there, favoritism and ethnicity creeps in there. It is very shameful that our Security Apparatus can be compromised with like that. If information reviewed reveals that there have been compromises in the Examination and interviews for the Establishment into the Police Service, then John Mahama should put his foot down and have the officers involved to be sacked immediately.

  How much does the policeman earn earn a month to be able to save up to 70 000cedis to bribe? Everybody knows the bribery is true, the leakage is rue and the denial is USUAL. Police have never admitted any wrong doing.
