PNDC/Rawlings did a similar thing when they were having problems with the Clergy of the Orthodox Churches in the 80s , they promoted the creation of so called spiritual churches who pastors were their friends and they could control.This resulted in the formation of One Man Churches which are causing so much mess.

Why do we want to produce more lawyers? We produced more nurses, today, the foreign minister is going from country to country seeking employment for them. How many newly trained teachers are at home waiting for placement? Of 4,000 pharmacists training, only 100 were employed. What we need in Ghana not more lawyers but strict application of our laws without fear or favour! The nation can make a lot of money in fines from strict application of our laws which could eventually minimize the current lawlessness we see everywhere.

So then why conduct examinations for even the very young JSS and SHS students? And would entry examinations be similarly cancelled by the Medical, Pharmacy, and other professional bodies? With his spurious statements, one wonders how Dafeamekpor made it through Law School and into the august body of Parliament.
