So is this guy aware the new law (LER ACT 2025) repeals the Sections in the old law that grants power to the IEC / GLC to conduct entrance exams, admissions etc ?? wht kind of buga buga lawyer be this ? the law has been repealed with immediate effect and you say anyone who challenges the GLC will loose !! is the GLC above the laws of Ghana, or the new Act does not apply to GLC ?? All these so called LAWyers were trained under the old system; no wonder the system is being changed !!

Yes it has been accented by the President but it cannot negate plans/measures which were in place prior. Afterall, it is not punitive or reckless.

For example, if the High Court pass judgement, the parties will wait for 7 days before it takes effect.

This is because the losing party may file an appeal so it is REASONABLE to allow this period.

We should first of all read the Procedure Rules before commenting.

That's what Ansa-Asare is referring to.

The fact that a law is passed and accented today does not mean it takes effect immediately.

Remember this is not a criminal case.
