Go to Nigeria or any of neighboring countries and ask if any of them quote import duty in dollars or foreign exchange.

It is because we have external commitments, we go to the international bond market so creditors must follow and be sure you will be servicing your debts. In serious economies, where most of you are itching to go, you cannot pay in dollars, you use the local currency. We have to be intentional, if we want to see real change.
