@Oka, Pan Africanism does not mean Nigeria, a country that pumps over 1.5 million barrels of oil day worth billions of dollars gets that huge sums siphoned by their leaders into their personal accounts, and then run to other countries moaning and whingeing that we should accommodate them because they have bad leaders.
Indians, Indonesian etc do not over run Singapore, Malaysia ,Japan etc because they are all Asians.
It does not exist in South America either, wher Colombians or Brazilians flock to Chile or Costa Rica because they are all South Americans. And, bear in mind, they were colonised too ,and most of those countries were also artificially created too.
Nigeria, per UN prediction, will have a population of 450 million by 2050.
Maybe, Okatakyie will be happy with 30 million of them living in Ghana in the
spirit of the fanciful Pan Africanism.
Nkrumah's idea of Pan Africanism was simple... let us run our countrues well for our citizens, trade amongst ourselves and have a collective voice when dealing with other well developed countries. That was the rationale. It was not meant for Africsns moving willy nilly to wherever pleases them without rules,

What is happening in South Africa is as a result of the ineptitude of the ANC government on immigration than it is the actions of the vigilanteism of some of it citizens !

For immigration to work for a country and migrants , it has to be controlled using laws and data by the government so migrants come in with the right documents , work and pay taxes into. However if people ran over the border and come into the country like in SA , they don’t have the right paperwork hence won’t pay into the tax system and become a burden on South Africans triggering the attacks that we read about .

I don’t know how the government solves this problem but South Africa has too much outsiders than the country needs to make its resources and money circulate sufficiently among its citizens

I remember some years ago, in London a lady friend who was a doctor came home really “UPSET” because a “Cleaner “ asked her why She was in the country “ Taking their Jobs”? Well, I laughed my head off and calmly advised her not to take any notices of such things. Before Russia's Special Military Operation (SMO), Ukraine and her allies blamed Belarus for importing Africans, mainly Negroes and sending them to heir countries.
Kwesi Pratt is right when he said that the issue of xenophobia is about miseducation,
Around the world, some people from infancy are orientated to have others because of the country they are coming from and their race.
