  The sharing of Intel between two states is not mandatory. It is done where the input of the other country is required to ensure effective investigations. For instance if the foreign country's agents have been able to physically locate the person, have identified the banks in which the monies are statched or the involvement of the local Ghanaian law enforcement agencies can help to dismantle the network, it is then that there will be the information sharing. Take note that the issue of extradition is not easy even though there is a treaty between Ghanaian authorities and the said foreign nations. Some extradition is easy whilst others can be quite complex. In the case of the MP, it could be complex with all manner of politics setting in to frustrate the extradition.
  
  Agsin Amanda should know that intelligence agencies don't tell us everything. Gor all yiu know the Ghanaian authorities are fully aware but has made it clear to the other country rhay it should not mention its involvement gor fear of partisan political backlash

  I find her observations reasonable. They may not reflect the reality, but theyre not far fetched either. Its just as likely, as you say, Ghana gave tacit approval without leaving fingerprints..

However, we have seen over and over again that those with high level contacts are often above the law. Our judicial system is so disfunctional and so ineffective. In the light of the above, I fully support the decision taken by Interpol to arrest the MP without first informing our authorities.
