You have been writing on this story, why don't you educate the laws of marital property acquisition and its distribution after a divorce to your readers ? What if the judge was right in applying the laws. In Ghana property acquired during marriage is not marital property unless the parties intended it to marital property to be jointly owned. The parties are allowed to live independent economic lives and acquire properties for their individual selves alone during the pendency of the marriage.
The appeal time is 3 months but if for any reason the appeal was not filed within the the three months, then leave may be sought to file the appeal within three months after the initial three months. If there are good grounds for not filing the appeal in the first three months leave would be granted to file it in the next three months.
But lawyers know how to file the appeal within the first three months whether the full judgment has been received or not. It can be filed pending the receipt of the full judgment.

Joana its too late for you to fight for equitable distribution of property under common law marriage especially when the has transferred all his powers under the that he is entitled to xyz amount every month so the question is how much is he earning now okay l will suggest yr lawyers should him down with his lawyers and settled amicable outside the court which you get much better now the judge gave you cos you took the matter to court so withdraw it and both lawyers sit and solved the appeal court will not override the 1st judge period despite being unfair to you my advice

She is now on her path for her share in the business. This is the approach. People were trying to drag the judge in the mud for his judgement but he is right. You can't mix divorce issues with business. Thank God you now have a lawyer who understands the game.
