A nation that poisons its land and water is, in effect, dismantling its own survival systems - food and intelligence - at the same time. A nation cannot recover lost brain capacity in its children. If unchecked, Ghana risks long-term cognitive decline and weakened institutions. Natural resources never guarantee a country's success. Human resources certainly do.
