Have you seen the plights of unfortunate young people like yourself who are trapped in vicious poverty when the wealth beneath their feet are exploited without compensation of basic human subsistence amenities? Not even supporting basic education, healthcare etc as sustainable CSR they are required to perform. Negotiate for what? Have you not seen the reset agenda? Are you happy about Africa was headed before the reset?

  Another corrupt, slavery mentality, selfish, unpatriotic Ghanaian, good for nothing, and useless comment by so called expert, expert in what, think about the bigger picture and grow up, instead of spewing nonsense to confuse the citizens. We cannot be poor for life, give away our wealth, minerals for nothing, 15 percent and go for loans to survive. We need to learn to work for ourselves, to feed ourselves, and that means taking back ownership of all our mines, Ghanaian own or under Ghana government ownership, all the money stays in Ghana. There is no argument to support renewal of any mining contract in Ghana anymore, it is that simple, not for debate.

And finally hire the same company operating the mines to continue operations. After 30 years of operations do you know how much profit they have made? We are indeed lucky to have the mine still having a life expectancy. It may not have enough ore-body left, let’s use this God given opportunity to savage some profit and use it to start a rail way line from Accra to Kumasi. It least we can say that we use Tarkwa Gold field’s proceeds to revamp another national asset.
