Imagine if same commitment was given to completing some 1D1F projects. Mahama didn't learn anything during 8 years in opposition. But he doesn't give a damn because the only reason why he wanted to be president again was the mineral wealth for himself, friends and family. Now that that has been achieved everyone can go to hell if they so wish. The weak minds can not still read between the lines. They will continue to follow blindly because hunger has blinded their minds and eyes. So sad

Why not try to harness/boost the productive capacity and the economic potential of the area first? Fumbisi is well known for rice cultivation, why not boost that by attracting private investments into industries processing rice-based products, like rice flour, rice starch, parboiled rice, rice cakes, biscuits, crackers, rice pudding, breakfast cereal, rice wine, etc? These will create jobs and boost both the local and national economies.

So, the 24/7 economy that was supposed to produced 1-3-3 jobs has now been reduced to building markets where we can't even provide electricity for sellers to sell their cheaply imported plastics, used clothes and the likes? And, we have a whole secretariat or authority for that?

This is maddeningly sickening. Crass, infantile politics!! Yet another example of how our politicians pick up slogans from elsewhere, spew them out, knowing too well those who voted for them for such mediocre politicking will have no way to hold them accountable for delivering on their promise.
