  Dr. (Mrs.) Gloria Nikoi, formerly Ms. Gloria Addae, was a distinguished Ghanaian stateswoman whose remarkable legacy spanned diplomacy, finance, and national development. She made history as Ghana’s first female Minister for Foreign Affairs, appointed by General Akuffo, and later continued her service to the nation under President Rawlings.
  
  A respected career diplomat and pioneer in Ghana’s rural banking industry, she also served as the first Chairperson of the Ghana Stock Exchange. She was married to Amon Nikoi, who served as Governor of the Bank of Ghana and Minister of Finance.
  
  In recognition of her exceptional contributions to Ghana and international diplomacy, she was recently honored by the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City Accra with a permanent conference room bearing her name, alongside celebrated diplomats and statesmen such as Richard Akwei, Mohamed Ibn Chambas, and Kofi Annan.
