  Only 20 million cedis? It should have been at least GHS 100 million to teach Ghana and the hospitals a lesson. Ghana's political leaders have failed Ghanaians since independence. The political leaders give 4th rate health system to the people while they themselves fly abroad for medical treatment. When the Speaker of parliament was sick, he flew to Dubai at least 6 times for treatment and reviews costing the taxpayer at least $ 4 million. Couldn't that money have been used to employ more doctors and nurses?

  THIS NO-BED SYNDROME PRACTICE HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR DECADES. THE PRACTICE DID NOT START TODAY IN GHANA'S SO-CALLED HOSPITALS, ALL OF WHICH DO NOT HAVE CT SCANNERS AND MRI SCANNERS FOR PATIENTS. EVEN IF A PATIENT IS LUCKY TO GET A PRIVATE SCANNING FACILITY OUTSIDE THE HOSPITAL,
  
  THE NEXT PROBLEM IS HOW TO GET AN AMBULLANCE OFFER A RIDE TO THE DYING PATIENT TO THE PRIVATE SCANNING FACILITY OUTSIDE THE HOSPITAL. IT IS BECAUSE THE PATIENT EVEN HAVE TO BUY PETROL OR FUEL FOR THE AMBULANCE TO BE DRIVEN TO GET THE PATIENT TO THE MRI- OR CT SCANNING FACILITY FOR THE SCANNING.
