Internal rivalry was much seen in the reshuffle than a strategy. Haruna was an unyielding leader without fear or favour, by that he was the most popular figure in the party as it's mouthpiece. Not even the HON. SPEAKER did he fear. Muntaka wasn't a spectator or figure head as well. The majority never had a breathing space under Haruna's leadership. The only strategy in the reshuffle was to unpopularise the two in the event the NPP won with Bawumia and the party (NDC) was to play the religious card by picking a muslim to damage Bawumia's campaign in 2028 elections. NPP had dethroned itself

even before 2023. Bawumia's was nothing in the government than a ceremonial figure, unfortunately he didn't realise it or too childishly blinded by power in carrying out delegated duties, making promises that could not go beyond his office. Ken Ofori Atta had dethroned him as Vice Prez, yet he kept his ceremonial role as head of the Economic Mgt Team under a rotten economy controlled by Ken. Even some of us in the NPP had prayed the military come in before the 2024 elections. As it did not happen we did it ourselves with our buttocks on the voting day. No strategy won the NDC the 2024 elections from anybody's coaching but the autocratic system NANA ADDO had adopted and the subsequent disapproval by the party. PERIOD!!!.
