A good government must know the number of people living within its territory to plan well, and the alien compliance order was for all foreigners living in Ghana to regularize their documents within a specific time. Those who understood the order regularized their documents, and stayed. The Nigerians who left were mostly illiterates like yourself who couldn't understand the order. During that time, visa was needed to visit any country in Africa, but Nigerians, Burkinabes, and Malians would come to Ghana and stay there with no visa and no documents at all.

Who can forget the burning of immigrants by placing rubber tires around them and setting them alight several years ago? South Africa's reputation is now in tatters because they failed to intervene and stop these cruel and murderous attacks while at the same time vociferously condemning other countries for gross human right abuses. South Africa should first remove the beam in front of their own eyes before removing that in front of other people’s field of vision. Still it is better to act late rather than never.
