What stops the Immigration authorities from allowing her to admit the son on the medical appointment and just tell her she can not be given any asylum status therefore, they can both return to Ghana after the medicals? I urge her to sue ICE and CBP for the maltreatment and unlawful detention as well as racial discrimination. This won’t happen to a white person. At least she and her chid entered US legally.
