  Well overdue Mr President. Those opposing it by saying loyalty or security reasons are being myopic. Our security weaknesses are rather at our land borders and the so called loyal politicians in Ghana are rather looting from mother Ghana. We in the diaspora arerather sending back 7.8 billion dollars or more into Ghana and not stealing and running away from Ghana with that money.

  Ghanaians in the diaspora do participate in whatever is going on in Ghana partially, but we have to tread cautiously when it comes to dual citizenship inclusion in parliament etc.
  
  As soon as one renounces his/her citizenship, it comes with a whole lot of issues that should be looked at critically when reversal of the process comes up for discussion. Mahama and NDC had the majority vote in parliament, but that should not give them the power to "Re-write" our entire constitution because some of them do not fully understand what they are debating.
  
  We should not rush into accepting something that would trigger some hectic debate in the near future because Ghana is not going to end on our watch.

  Is this not the man who led his party NDC to campaign against ROPA? If he has changed his mind he can resend the bill to his Parliament for consideration.
