According to NPP, the proper LGBTQ bill was passed in 2024 but their President Akuffo Addo refused to sign it into law and these NPP politicians didn't see anything wrong with that. Now the same LGBTQ bill has been given to the NDC and they have made changes and now NPP politicians are crying foul. The same question is, why did the NPP refuse to sign the proper LGBTQ bill into law in the first place? Has the new insertions allowed acts that were initially prohibited by the 2024 bill ?

The president promised was not to pass the bill in the form that was framed. The president promise was assenting a bill that deals with LGBT+ activities that are contrary to the values of the Ghanaian people.

It is not everyone who will swallow this hook of misinformation. Ghanaians are now alert, and will propose to politicians to be careful of what the spruce out as political strategy.

I salute the Hon Rev. Fordjour for leading the charge on the bill at its neophyte stage.

I also salute entire Parliament for dealing with the bill with the speed of light. God bless our lawmakers and bless our homeland, Ghana.
