So those who are saying they disagree with the coach analogy don’t understand anything football and shouldn’t be talking about football. Portugal, Germany, Brazil,England and other strong countries possessed ball but at the end what normally happens.

You should be able to hold on to the ball and drive it to the posts otherwise, you can kick yourself goodbye to goals. That is why in commentaries, they count the number of ball possession. It's a skill a team must have in other to score.

While there may not be correlation between ball possesion and winning, in the men's FIFA World Cup, teams that dominate possession win roughly 38% to 42% of the time, while teams with less possession win 35% to 39% of the time. Wales dominated possession rendering the Ghanaian team to only defending and chasing the Wales players. Counter attacking football has no place in today's modern game. The last four world cup winners dominated with ball possession. Italy, a team that's notorious for counter attacking, didn't even qualify for the world cup. It appears going into the world cup, Queiroz has no intention of changing his tactics. Ghana will be lucky to win a march.

Today's Black Stars, unlike the previous days, do not have an attacking ambition. They play exhibition football. They play relaxed game as if there is no need to move forward. They pass backwards all the time. Their distribution is poor and centered around where the ball is. They don't use the wings. They don't run with ball. And it makes me wonder whether they are serious. Asamoah Gyan, Stephen Appiah, Dede Ayew, Essien, John Mensah etc. etc moved with the ball with speed and seriousness. These days, they sing and dance and play games. How will they score if they have no bite? Brazil, Spain, Argentina, Japan, Germany, Britain and other good soccer nations run with ball with seriousness. They use the wings. They are tactical. Ghana is full of bum, bum players. Sorry!

Baba Rhaman looked old and rusty during the game yet he was selected ahead of more competent players! Also, Jordan is rusty and can play at most only 30 minutes of the game. And he’s too slow in passing the ball these days! Also, let the players stop retreating instead of rather attacking any opponent possessing the ball at least to disorganize them!
