Finance minister tells the cabinet what the balance sheet is and what can be made available immediately. Finance minister doesn’t control ministerial portions but The President and vice who chairs cabinet ministers meetings. If cabinet say give 100 to education Ato will eventually give that 100 to education but what Ato control is making it 20 20 20 20 20 or 80 20 or 60 40 depending on liquidity n cash flows.

Which Political Party is more Tribalistic than NDC? Who is believed to have founded it and how many of his tribespeople did he kill and murdered when he crept out of oblivion where he did not even have furniture at his place but stole from used military Planes seats. Even the Weed that Rawlings was addicted to and smoked openly at the Burma Camp was bought on credit. He was a misnomer in our society.
Pratt is an opportunist and well known by many discerning Ghanaians about how he aligned himself with Efo the Murderer and told on Political Opponents to him for them to be arrested and taken to Military Barracks to be tortured and sometimes killed. Many Ghanaians of my age and intelligence know who Pratt is, and has been in the Political landscape of Ghana. Mahama doesn’t let Pratt get to him because he knows very much about about the latter. And no NPP person will tolerate Pratt. He is done in Ghana Politics. And KWASEA LIKE THAT IS ALWAYS TALKING AGAINST THE WEST yet took his children to the USA for their education. President Mahama and the NDC can borrow a leaf from former President Kufour. In 2007, he fired seven senior ministers who were campaigning to succeed him s President. He believed their political ambitions distracted from their official functions and created divisions within the government. Mahama could do the same with his appointees. The NDC, as a party, could also ask all party executives with Presidential ambitions to step down to concentrate on their campaigns. If Mahama and the NDC don't have the courage to take these drastic steps, then they should be prepared for acrimony and confusion within their ranks by 2028.
