I was born since 1952 in Tarkwa hospital I lived in USA since 50 years I retired and relocated in Ghana and decided to visit my birthday place it is a horrible town . I noticed the hospital that I was born 74 years ago dose not even measures up to village hospital in USA , meanwhile there has been this mining company here mining in Tarkwa over two hundreds years and you are not ashamed of the look of Tarkwa and its presently hospital sub standards , as compared to a mining town of pisburg in Pennsylvania USA …what kind of humans are we people at all ? We been always being exploited ;and the same victims of exploitation do not even realizes that they are victims .. they look up to short terms gains from the mining company depleting the Tarkwa Resources without any long term sustainable pathway for the citizens of the community but just few groups of idiots chiefs making noises.

I am a Tarkwa born and I must say it’s a shame for those chiefs to back the company exploiting the community.. just shut off and back off for betterment of the citizens instead of your own interests and allow the government to take a feasible sustainability pathway for the citizens okay .. nonsense.   Our political elite sell us out.
  Even if companies want to do projects they refuse rather want money
  Then corruption sets
  Do we expect a mine to solve all employment and development problems?
  Glass and Bonsa Tyre factories collapsed who CV h employed so much in the area
  Just like Accra Kumasi once there is a mine people migrate there for opportunities.
