Put one andn2 together. I met so many lovely Nigerian ladies working in the clubs and on the.streets they told me that Nigeria was hell.no jobs and the Ghana cedi was much stronger stronger than the Nigerian naira that's why they were in Ghana for the money

FYI, Nigerian suppliers suffered immensely in Ghana because of dishonest Ghanaians who take goods and instead of paying, they begin the stinking mickey mouse game, this frustration led to many problems for Nigerians and Ghana authorities encouraged this criminal behavior

This was how retail business started because they could not go back to Nigeria with the goods and neither could they supply further, they had to rent shops and sell directly to the customers

This reality also generated bad blood typical with Ghanaians, excessive greed, for the Nigerian business man, time equals Naira so they do not depend on overhead profits but on turn over

This is one thing that Ghana will never understand

The response of the South African government to this xenophobic attacks is a clear indication that the government sanctioned the attacks. Those in charge of these groups are walking the streets and still giving commands with the security forces also taking part in the attacks. No one has been arrested for these attacks and they even dare foreigners not to listen to their government. The AU must act . Ghana must be applauded for their actions. One would expect Nigeria to lead the other African countries to take strong action but Nigeria’s actions so far has been very disappointing. Africa unity is dead
