  From Rawlings to current president demolishing of buildings take place yet there's no solution in sight. Things are getting worse every year and getting out of hand. Is the demolishing the only solution to be free from flooding in Accra? The talking hasn't helped in anyway and we seem to be beating about the bush year in year out. Loss of life and property cannot be quantified since Accra started experiencing floods yet we keep saying the same things over and over again until harmattan raises its head then we go to sleep. If the authorities will take up the job street boys are doing, it will go a long way to solve the flooding. When it comes to dredging of drainage, it's odawna and few others. There are choked gutters of different shapes and sizes across the city, some are blocked to the extent that weeds have taken over and one cannot believe that there's drainage or gutter underneath. Let's stop the talking and stop behaving like vultures and take pragmatic actions to safe Accra from flooding waters.

It has become one big lake with buildings sticking out of the water in so many areas
