I am part of those waiting to be evacuated. we were there on last Tuesday and Wednesday before our registrations were completed, now we are reading news on Ghana web that those who were sent home on Saturday and Sunday was the final batch. is this not nonsense, what happen to our registrations and now we are left with no documents to defend our stay in south Africa because home affairs officials were there to cancel our documents for stay in that country,

Taking the fingerprints, checks made whether the person has committed any crime, do they have relevant papers or they have overstayed their permits and mind u the officials have other work to do apart from evacuation of Ghanaians. Nigeria also is evacuating their citizens. This puts pressure on immigration and the high commission. Please don't just sit there and spew nonsense. Even boring buses from Accra to Kumasi takes time

This is the whole reason why one is asked to get guarantors to sign your passport. These repatriation fees should be claimed from guarantor's
