Its amazing how long its taken the country to realise. This should have been the case from day 1 the first barrel of crude surfaced in ghana. Better late than never, and even if price per barrel is sold at the same market rate globally...lower transportation cost due sourcing the local crude will help with the overall cost. Hopefully this effect is felt at the pump for consumers rather than in the pockets "you know who"
