This educated wealthy stateswoman has enjoyed life very well with embezzled funds, how and why can't she face the same scrutiny like those convicted of petty larceny or have her expense the funds in Ghana seeking the best care there is under house arrest.

If what her defence counsel is anything to go by then, this gov't must stop pursuing Ken Ofori-Atta for he also left the shores of Ghana on health grounds. This argument is neither here nor there because she stole state funds especially the cheque she issued to a rural bank as loan and the bank refused and this woman rejected the cheque she issued. Instead she asked the bank to return cash on the face value of the cheque. She knew she was sick at the time she deviced a way to steal so the law must deal with her.
