If Sedinam actually wanted to continue with the case, she could have provided her medical management and her doctors account to the court for consideration. The court could have given her more time if her condition was that grave. She or her lawyers failed to utilize the courts and the impression was created that she had absconded after being granted medical leave.
Her coming back on extradition is probably a ploy to set her free. I won’t be surprised if she’s released on compassionate grounds. The ground work has been done already. But she should pay back the exact amount of money deemed to have been misappropriated in exchange for her freedom.
