Prophet Dr Michael Boadi Nyamekye is the founder of Makers House Chapel International
Founder of Makers House Chapel International, Prophet Dr Michael Boadi Nyamekye, has publicly addressed allegations surrounding his supposed involvement in the controversial mathematical sets contract and claims of being pursued by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO).
According to a report by The News Republic, sighted by GhanaWeb on June 12, 2026, the Man of God has been outside Ghana for the past two years amid speculations that he fled due to investigations.
Touching on this, Prophet Nyamekye has insisted that his absence was motivated by family priorities, not legal troubles.

Speaking in an interview, he explained that his decision stemmed from a desire to reconnect with his wife and five children after years of limited presence in their lives.
“I have been away from my wife and five children since 2023. I never spent a full month with them. In 2025, I travelled to the US for my 19-year-old son’s graduation. When I looked at my children, some as young as 14 and 16, I realised I had missed a lot in their lives,” he said.
Prophet Nyamekye emphasized that while his church continues to function in his absence, his family remains his top priority, “What you can tell the whole world is that I need to spend time with my children. They are the most important thing for me now. If I die, the church will continue.”

He categorically denied being under investigation or summoned by EOCO, stressing that he is not “on the run” and will return to Ghana when the time is right.
He also distanced himself from the mathematical sets contract controversy, reportedly linked to former Education Minister Matthew Opoku Prempeh.
“One of the cases being scrutinised is the mathematical sets contract. That is the former minister’s matter,” he said.
Addressing claims of political affiliation, Prophet Boadi Nyamekye dismissed claims that his presence at former Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia’s 59th birthday celebration signaled partisan alignment.
He explained that admiration should not be mistaken for political endorsement.
“On my status display picture, I posted him. People called and asked, ‘Osofo, you can’t show that a politician is with you.’ I said that is hypocrisy. If you admire or appreciate someone, you should be able to show it,” he said.
