Besides, my parents thought that it was my responsibility for graduate from the GCE O and A Levels when they have struggled to pay for my education. I didn’t embarrass them. I had a Grade 1 in those days to make it to the Sixth Form where I also excelled and went to the University.
It is nice the Parents awarded her but with a Brand New car is outrageous. Even Bill Gates and Trump who are extremely rich will not do that. A nice Party for her to be attended by her friends and acquaintances at school would have been enough. Am I right?
The award of a vehicle is outrageous and just over pampering.

Congratulations to the young girl and all SHS graduates. And congratulations again on her gift . It’s indeed a happy moment to receive such gifts . However , as parents , sometimes we need to think about all children as our own. Gift could be presented at home , in the midst of family, close friends and associates . These are teenagers. Their character and behaviors are still being formed . They may not be mature enough to understand how the world works. She may have friends and colleagues in school who struggled to make ends meet. Some from less privileged homes. Some friends may wonder and say to themselves “where did we pass” even the caption that accompanies the video asks same. Let’s be mindful of the bigger picture always . All the best young lady and safe on road

School heads should not entertain this kind of show of. I have always advocated that some parents are so wealthy that they can pay School fees especially boarding fees but NPP said who should pay and who should not pay.
