My brother or sister, please let’s do our best to take emotions out of this and continue to share our views. Although I’m against Canada’s decision to deny Partey entry to the country, I totally understand why some people will question his participation in this event at the university that includes minors (ie people deemed vulnerable) whiles there is an ongoing sexual offence allegation going through the criminal justice system. That is not to say Partey is guilty of the accusations, but it’s a preventative measure for the children and to an extent to Partey himself. The handlers of the team should not have placed Partey in this latest situation. It’s unfair on him. Imagine if one child or a parent comes up with another accusation against Partey because they take offence to a comment or something he may have made towards their child?
By all means Partey has every right to play in this World Cup but please please please let’s not put him in situations like this. This innocent until proven guilty mantra we keep hearing doesn’t mean literally that, plus it calls for our team handlers to think twice before exposing Partey and the team to questionable attention.
