NDC communicator, Theophilus Dzimega, has questioned about the legal strategy being pursued in the case involving Chairman Wontumi, arguing that every court battle must begin with a clear objective.

Dzimega said he remains uncertain about the direction of the case and what those handling it hope to achieve.

“The strategy that they have employed appears to have been flawed from the beginning. We don’t know what the end game will be. And I keep asking, what the end game will be,” he stated on New Day on TV3.

Drawing from his legal background, Dzimega explained that lawyers are expected to assess the strength of evidence and determine the most effective path before proceeding.

“When you get a case, just like in football or any game, the first question you should be asking yourself is, what is my strategy? How am I going to go about this?

“Do I advise my client based on the evidence, or do I decide to go head on?” he asked.

According to him, strategy often determines the outcome of legal battles, making it important for lawyers to understand their objectives from the outset.

His remarks suggest that beyond the politics surrounding the case, there are legal questions about how the matter has been handled and whether the chosen approach will ultimately achieve its intended purpose.
