A Ghana Health Service (GHS) tricycle transporting nurses overturned after reportedly losing control, nearly resulting in a fatal accident.
In a video shared by the social media platform We Love Ghana on Friday, June 19, 2026, several bystanders are seen at an undisclosed location assisting the to overturn the tricycle.

The post accompanying the video read, "One of the Ghana Health Service tricycle ambulances lost control and overturned, nearly costing the nurses on board their lives".
The video also drew attention to the poor condition of the road on which the incident occurred.
The tricycles under the Free Primary Health Care (FPHC) initiative are designed to support the movement of health workers and community volunteers, enabling them to deliver essential services in underserved communities.
The tricycles are not intended for emergency medical transport but are specifically equipped with compartments to safely transport vaccines while maintaining the cold chain.
