With 7 times less population than Nigeria and being the largest producer of gold on the continent, why is Ghana still very poor?
Goldfields should not worry they can get new mines in Australia,their native South Africa,congo, africa,Asia or America,we want to take over this mine what kind of nonsense is that that they dont understand this
This deal will definitely go to a politician, his family or some entity connected to the politician.
They will be poor till end of time all cos of our so called corrupt leaders and thieves we will remain poor till end of time
The reason is that our gold his being exploited by foreign firms. So they transfer the wealth to their homelands (to be shared among shareholders).

MOSTLY because of the NPP...beginning with Kuffour although Kuffour was a million times better than Akuffo Addo.

John Mahama should try and extend the colonialist apartheid Goldfields lease, and see what Ghanaians will do to him. Transfer all the leases that are ending to Ghanaians. Ghana must own its own minerals resources.
