SHS student receives surprise marriage proposal after WASSCE

One of the most unforgettable moments involved a female SHS graduate who received a surprise marriage proposal shortly after completing her final examination.

In the heartwarming footage, a man dressed in casual attire was seen kneeling before the student, who had reportedly just finished writing her final paper.

The one-minute, nine-second video, shared by @askghmedia on X and sighted by GhanaWeb on June 26, 2026, captured the student's reaction as she appeared both surprised and overjoyed.

Family members celebrated the moment by pouring powder on her amid cheers and excitement.

The young lady then stretched out her hand, allowing the man to place a ring on her finger.

Aburi Girls SHS student gifted 2025 Jetour Dashing vehicle

Another celebration at Aburi Girls Senior High School sparked attention after a student, identified as Nikita Brown, was gifted a brand-new Jetour vehicle valued at GH¢400,000.

Graduate visits late mother's grave after final paper

A touching gesture by another SHS graduate captured the hearts of many on social media after he visited his late mother's grave immediately after completing his final WASSCE paper.

In a social media post sighted by GhanaWeb on June 18, 2026, the young graduate was seen arriving at the graveside while still dressed in his school uniform.

The emotional visit, which quickly went viral, showed the student pouring champagne and laying a wreath at the grave in honour of the woman he credited for supporting his educational journey.

According to the caption accompanying the post, he travelled directly to the cemetery after writing his final examination paper as a way of expressing gratitude to his late mother.



Opoku Ware SHS student receives car and cash bouquet after WASSCE

An SHS graduate from Opoku Ware Senior High School (OWASS) also received a lavish surprise after completing his WASSCE.

In a heartwarming yet controversial video that quickly went viral, the student's mother presented him with a brand-new Honda CR-V and a large cash bouquet.

The footage, originally shared by @mr_frimpong22 on X, captured the emotional moment as the mother arrived to pick up her first son, Boamah Bernard, also known as Bekoe Boamah Bernard.

The surprise package reportedly included a money bouquet worth GH¢20,000 made up of GH¢200 notes, in addition to the vehicle.
